EScaping death
We will all die one day, whether we like it or not.
So if that’s the case, what does a life worth living look like to you?
It can be whatever you want it to be, just remember when we are cutting it close…
To be grateful for everything we have experienced during our time here.
Let’s not run from our problems because eventually we must face the challenges in front of us.
We are no strangers to obstacles but sometimes the answer isn’t clear and it takes time…
Be patient, remain curious, gain clarity and explore the unknown with confidence.
Play to your strengths and recognize your weaknesses so you can make a move only you can make.
In 2022, I was up in Northern BC in Prince Rupert near Alaska.
I was a deckhand on a salmon packer for 20 days, and one night, the tides were ripping at 11pm…
One of the lines snapped when a fish boat was offloading their catch into our freezer.
Ya boy was receiving the rope on the port side to retie and almost was crushed between the two boats.
The unpredictable ocean was on my side that night and I escaped death.
During my time out at sea in remote environments as a deckhand, those photos and videos built the foundation of my creative work…
It is never too late to chase your dreams.
